Xuelong Fu

Hi! I'm Xuelong, currently a master's student in Technology Policy at the University of Cambridge. Previously, I studied various subjects and hold three bachelor's degrees in political science, business administration, and AI. I co-founded the Amsterdam Policy Hackathon and Data for Public Impact Network (DPIN), aiming to bring policy hackathons to cities around the world. Currently, I also work as Associate Editor for the MIT Science Policy Review and conduct research at the Oxford Computational Political Science Group.

Diego van der Mast

Hi there, I'm Diego, A MSc AI student at the University of Amsterdam. Fueled by my interest in sociotechnical progress community-building, and interdisciplinary collaboration, I co-founded the Amsterdam Policy Hackathon and Data for Public Impact Network (DPIN). I'm excited to bring together the brightest minds in The Hague to build a network of changemakers and tackle pressing policy challenges through this hackathon.

Ivo Andriessen

Hello hello! My name is Ivo and I'm a recent graduate of Public Administration at Leiden University as well as a current board member of The Hague Effective Altruism. Prior to organising this hackathon I have participated and won similar policy competitions organised by William and Mary in collaboration with NATO. Presently I am interested in creating social impact through organising impactful communities and projects. Finally, I hold a bachelors in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from the John Stuart Mill college at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.

Jeanne Bertoux

Hi there! I'm Jeanne Bertoux and I'm a board member for The Hague Effective Altruism (THEA). I'm also a student at Leiden University College, majoring in International Justice. My interests lie in international and human rights law, but I believe policy work is essential to implement more effective change and to better reach social justice everywhere.

Lumi Reichenbach

Hey, I'm Lumi Reichenbach, a board member at the Hague Effective Altruism! I'm currently studying International Justice at Leiden University College. I'm especially interested in youth advocacy, justice and human rights which is why I'm working on policy and systematic change. I'm excited to combine knowledge with practice through the Policy Hackathon and bring the professionals and youth of the Hague together!
